Thank you for your urging the government of Israel to move toward peace. I also thank you for your reiterating the need for a viable Palestinian state based on the '67 lines, but certain question do remain. You refer to the need for Israel to be a Jewish state withe secure and recognized borders "that reflect subsequesnt developments." It is that last phrase that concerns me. What do you mean by it? Could you please share with us your views on how you expect Palestine to be a viable state when Israel continues to make viability impossible by colonizing East Jerusalem, dispossessing residents from Silwan and Sheik Jarreh, as well as allowing or providing for the expansion of more than 23 illegal outposts that Israel committed to take down. Are the zionist colonies an impediment to a viable Palestinian state and what do you plan to do in making sure that EJ will indeed be the capital of Palestine? Thank you, Madame Secretary.
