Notably, the author of this article Gideon Levy does not live in New York. Does one have to comprehend how it must have been for Jews and other subhumans considered by the Nazis living in Germany in the 1930's if one didn't live there? Come now Leon... Let's stop making excuses. The "existential threat" as you put it is exactly what Israel calls its demographic demons and demographic threats in very clear terms. And that is the frighening part of it Leon..when you say "after the existential threat has been removed."
