Aluf Benn points out that an international force on Israel's northern boundary will be the lasting image of this war. Unfortunately, to some of us, four dead UN blue helmeted soldiers will be the lasting image. We will remember how the IDF: 1) Had maps of every UN outpost. 2) Received a phonecall each of the TWELVE times the outpost was targeted ... and promised to stop each time. 3) Dropped a direct bomb powerful enough to kill the UN soldiers in their underground bunker. 4) Also attacked the rescue crew who came to dig them out ... ... and apparently did all of the above 'by accident'. Israel is perfectly within its' rights to consider UN soldiers, including a fellow Canadian of mine as a valid war target. You choose who you think you are at war with, and who you want to attack. Apparently now Israel wants to start a war with the whole world.
