Interestingly enough, Erakat thinks that the dead-end is due to Israel refusal to stop building in Jerusalem, not to Palestinian diktat that Israel stop doing so. So that the dead-end will never be on the side that refuses to negotiate, because anyone can put a similar condition to all negotiations. This way, Palestinians can put the blame on Israel. In the end, if Israel accepted their conditions, they would only have to find another one, etc. And the blame would still be on Israel, right?
