David I dont profess to know too much about arab culture but it seems to me that there is a great sensitivity there. The hierarchy of respect is huge and so is the inability to accept mistakes openly. Ibrahim has family in Ramallah so we can understand his personal difficulty but also he lives in America and know from free speech and people telling it how it is,so its a bit of a conflict in itself. I ask him almost to take a step back and look at the reality and he keeps telling me that I am not accepting Israeli responsibility in the problem. For me there is no equivelance in the situation but yes there has been wrongs on the Israeli side too. But I dont know if Ibrahim CAN take a step back and talk about the REAL situation. This may be your frustration with him. Nothing will change in reality until the arabs change their mode d'employ for Israel's defence is critical in the conflict. That may hurt him but thats just the way it is.
