Mister Grossman, your open letter is so obvious to many people but you should ask yourself why Bibi does not talk to Abbas. Going to the UN for recognition is the most legitimate move the palestinians can make. Otherwise what exactly are the palestinians going to get from talks, not only with Israel but with Bibi ? nothing. They recognized Israel in 88 they got Shamir and violent repression during the 1st Intifada. They recognized Israel a second time in Oslo they got Rabin who never ended constructions and settlements. And today ? even more settlements and brutalities. Israelis should bear in mind that the palestinians despite occupation are not fools. They live on that land. They know what's going on. They know what resisting means. They know what political leaders they're confronting in Israel and that's nothing new. Since day one the palestinians had to confront israeli leaders such as Meir, Begin, Shamir, Sharon or Bibi. Not really peacemakers are they ? you're a very respectful person mister Grossman and it's time your voice amongst others in Israel raise however i'm not sure you will be heard.....and the palestinians cannot be blamed for that.
