The need to preempt Iran and export gas to Egypt was the reason the government gave to push through its controversial plan for Israel's natural gas. Now, this reason may no longer exist.08:52 31.08.15 | 1 comments
Hey Dav, the presumption is that Saddam will become a martyr. You then go on to quote Mubarak. "No one will ever forget the way in which Saddam was executed. They turned him into a martyr." - PRESIDENT HOSNI MUBARAK of Egypt. It is not the way Saddam died, which was by hanging, which makes him a common criminal, but in the spin which follows. If Mubarak repeats this line along with the leaders of fifty other Moslem countries, then the spin will have been spun and the quote will become a thought embedded in the "pop" neon culture. I doubt very much that the Shiite world was embarrassed by the taunting. Saddam's final humiliation should be his own and not shared by folks looking forward another false messiah.
