All my life, media in the Arab world has painted one picture of palestenian problem with the settlers: that the whole Israel population knew EXACTLY what was happening to the Palestinians from the settlers, and they approved and did not want to do anything about it. Now, by reading this article, I am begining to understand that the informatin that we receive in the Arab countries regarding what the settlers do is not what is recived by the majority of the Israili public. Although I may differ in my opinion with many people from Israel regarding the settlements, I do salute your resolve to bring this matter into the light for the majority of the Israili public to see and judge for themselves. If only all of us have the courage to look within ourselves and speak out the truth, Israilis and Arabs, our lives will be so much different. I read about Ezra Nawi (an Israili citizen), and his struggle to stop the abuse of Palestinian farmers in South Hebron at the hand of settlers (under the watchful eye of the IDF), and years of negative stereotyping of all the collective people of Israel by the Arab media dissappear. There are still good people who, inspite of war and strife, actually stand in the face of the flood in order to do the right thing. Thank you and hope there are many like you, Ezra Nawi. Your stand is an inspiraton!!
