    The drama in Darfur has NOTHING to do wth global warming.the great drought in the Sahel( covering Darfur ) during the seventies did not produce any adverse effects anywhere nearer to the tragedy we are now experiencing.The effects of droughts through the centuries were solved amicably and by artbitration between nomadic arab tribes and resident non-arab tribes.Now, you have more than 200K dead and more than 2M displaced . You have more than 1K vllages burned. You have more than 2K farms burned. You have thousands of tons of millet and sorghum burned. Climate change does not burn villages, kill persons, burn farms and cereals.These atrocities were done by the armed JANJAWEED arab milicias , supported and armed and funded and recruited by the Government of Sudan to annihilate ( yes, this is the corrrect word ) the non-arab tribes who are supposedly supporting the rebels.Dr Rabnowitz should not be carried away by the UNEP report.These are exeprts who want to promote the environment cau
