"If Olmert would adopt the Taba Geneva concept,Israel would be wellpostioned here." - Danite Agreed. The essential "demand" of the Saudis is that Israel commit to a resolution of the problem. Anyone who thinks that any equitable solution to the problem requires that Israel remain in control of most of the west bank has no concept of the term 'equitable." "There is no example of any nation having profited from prolonged warfare." - Sun Tzu This remains true. Israel has the best chance of a comprehensive peace in the history of it's existence. I remember Israel's 25 'birthday" and the joy that it's survival brought. Now Israel can achieve the peace it wanted then. This will require disappointing a minority of religious fanatics and some war lovers. There are powerful forces in the Arab and Islamic world which consider a resolution of the problem - one that accepts the existence of, and peace with Israel - absolutely necessary to the stability of the region. Opportunity nocks.
