    There are circumstances when any position becomes reasonable and tenable. I don't accept the fact that we need to accept a border just because it happened to be a ceasefire line ie that our troops were stationed there at that particular moment in time. A bit of thought and a bit of negotiation are useful in times of peacemaking. We want a peace to last: the better and more suitable the conditions the more liable the peace is to be stable. This holds true for both sides. It's in the interests of our enemy to make the peace as watertight as possible from their point of view too. They'll have many partners to please. That'll be our bargaining chip: making concessions to please their partners. In return we need to get what we need. We need to know what we need: secure borders, disarmament of militias, no overflights. We have much to give them in exchange. As I said I'm not military. But I do care very much. I live in Israel and each part of what happens touches me
