Danite, you are concentrating on your feelings after the facts, but this just makes things more unclear when you must decide whether one should remove a Saddam or not. You have a good heart; you say "good riddance" to Saddam and are happy for all the Iraqis who will no longer suffer under him. My little big secret is that probably everybody in the West shares your feelings. But this doesn't help in deciding such issues before the fact. So please take a moment, consider whether, when all that is known today would have been known then, would it have been good/right/just/ whatever to invade, or not. Can you please do the calculation and offer your view? I don't see what we get of all this talk about maniacs and Hitlers and the joy of the redeemed. Ultimately, there must be an actual conclusion, isn't it? Danite, if you care to answer, I will probably read it tomorrow. I have to leave for a while. Good night. BG

For French teen studying in Israel, it's all about being a Jew among Jews

Arrivals / Departures: Anti-Semitism in France is certainly not the reason why this teen chose to come to Israel; an Israeli whose relatives perished in the Holocaust finds living in Berlin 'perfectly fine.'
