    I find it hard to believe such thoughts are not casually exchanged amongst Jews in private quarters - secular ones I might add - but putting that aside how should a Palestinian react to a "spiritual leader" making such comments - but more importantly a spiritual leader who leads a party that is currently part of the Netanyahoo government? We can dismiss this nut but the fact remains Shas is in the government? Will Netanyahoo keep Shas, of course he will. The problem is will Europe or America put pressure on him to distance himself from Shas? This is the big problem, this double standard with Lieberman and Shas and many other racist fascist factions part of the Netanyahoo regime with no one on the outside batting an eye: As though Jewish extremism is kosher. This kind of silence and indifference in the long run will boomerang against Jews. Religious extremists will become less tolerant and more belligerent to those within the tribe than those outside as they gain more power. The writing is on the wall!
