Don't blame Israel for the belligerence of the Islamist-Jihadists in the Middle East. Blame the wolves for their own aggressions and belligerence in crusading their Jihadism to the non-Islamist world since the 7th century. If Syria is serious about peace with Israel, its President would be traveling to Israel and seeking peace without any conditions of usurping the Golan from Israel. But Syria has no interests in peace. Syria invaded Lebanon and assasinated Lebanese leaders like slaughtering chickens. Its thugs murdered 240 American peace keepers in Beirut in the early 1980s. It flooded Iraq with thugs to kill American nation builders. It is in cahoots with the Ayatollahs in funding and arming Hezbollah in invading Lebanon and attacking Israel. The fact is peace does not exist in the heart, mind and soul of Islamist-Jihadists. Their peace is the destruction of Israel. Hence, Israel has to defend herself by defeating her enemies.

Why we don't know how to pick our leaders

Our craving for ideology means that we are partial to ideological leaders. But we need leaders who will make smart decisions that are aligned with the public interest.
