All due respect, the writer take himself as a referee in the matter of gathered information, which in a sweep he completely dismiss as a prefabricated intelligence the end of which to provoke Egypt into some form of belligerence. Now, do not get wrong, there are interest parties in Israel that are rushing to clear out long standing beefes against Mubarak regime. But, the writer is disgeneous in asserting that the Istraelis are to be blamed. Mubarak's regime is so unstable that there are more power centers in Egypt that compete for the relevance of Israel-Egypt relations, and are more than willing to create havoc in their country to change the Egyptian reality on the ground. The Article is underhanded, ignorant and cocksure of the writer conclusion. It does not do good that Haaretz allows such a non-sensical Article to be publish: it is cinical, amateurish and provoke disdain for the writer, for being childish and know it all.

Why this liberal Zionist now supports BDS

Calling the occupation 'unsustainable' is how liberal Zionists ease their conscience and excuse their timidity, by telling themselves it can’t last. But it will last – unless we start acting more like radicals.
