Hamas relies on humanitarian aid from Israel for the essential supplies it needs. As long as Shalit is held hostage the government of Israel has no right to supply the enemy. It may be that a real, not propaganda, humanitarian crisis in Gaza is what is needed to end the humanitarian outrage of Hamas holding Shalit hostage.
