Who benefits? Sometimes someone makes a mistake and does something stupid. But when they keep doing it its only because they saw they benefitted, and they'll keep benefitting from keeping doing it. We don't know who fired the first bullet in Kiev like we don't know who set off the first bomb in Lebanon. But someone saw it had the effect they wanted, and ordered more. The result of all those successive ones tells you who was responsible. In Kiev it was the supposedly "popular" overthrow of a pro-Russian government.
