The results suggest Iran's next parliament will be more supportive of President Rohani's drive for economic reforms, but conservatives will remain a powerful force.13:31 30.04.16 | 0 comments
I met some Cuban Americans in Chicago. They are middle class, well educated and were wealthy in Cuba. Their wealth was stolen from them in Cuba and they were forced to leave; the situation is the same in Venezuela today, where Chavez has stolen property from Jews and American companies. This is happening in Ecuador too; maybe other S.A. countries. Maybe Castro was able to make the lives of the poor a little better or he acknowledged the Holocaust, but the exiled Cuban Americans may have had a worse experience with him. Ahmedinejad should acknowledge the Holocaust before getting into a war with Israel. However, the Iranians are suffering under his regime and people suffered under Castro and are suffering under Chavez. Cuban Americans have kept Castro and Cuba on a black list. Some americans would like to trade with Cuba, but I think it is restricted now. I thought the situation of Armenia and Turkey was similar because of the Armenian genocide; some Armenians will always keep Turkey on their black list, although others would like to trade with Turkey. Some people will never forgive and forget and never reconcile because of their bad experience.
