I tend to agree with Gideon Levy, but I think that crossing the fence into a border enclave is a legitimate action, and that if this had occurred between two other countries he would have reacted differently. Waiting for UNIFIL might have been wiser; but it certainly doesn't justify opening fire on Israeli forces. There are many legitimate criticisms of our (Israel's) use of force, but this case is an example to the contrary.
