Cristina, on your theory that the masses do not validate a leader, did this also apply to Moses, to Ghandi, to the Dalai Lama or more currently to the pope? Please don't think that I'm a blind follower of the man, I don't even belong to his sect or to his party but I'm ready to accept that millions are ready to follow him blindly and not because he is a demagogue as you suppose but simply because they like, admire and trust the man. The man has a huge social welfare organization set up to pay for the education, hospitalization and housing to any of his million followers and others too that are in need. Within 24 hours of the cease-fire, he had 5,000 volunteers and heavy equipment clearing the rubble from the destroyed buildings in the suburbs and within 7 days, he had paid out 250 million US to the families that lost their homes to buy furniture and to pay for the rent for 1 year until their homes are rebuilt. Is it a wonder they like him?
