TonyL, I think I understand what you mean. The problem is, there aren't so many oxymorons with all conflicts relating to Israel, because international law is a guideline by which the international community should act - in times of conflict and peace. Pushing or crossing the boundaries just cannot be accepted. Israel is in a difficult region, that's true, but is it not also true that it isn't making its life easier than it could if it were to revise its foreign and domestic agenda? I don't even think Goldstone should be brought into this, because the arguments against Justice Goldstone's credibility just won't work.
