Intelligent design (Creation) vs Evolution, Who is Elia Leibowitz and what background does she have. A PhD in Biology ??? it would be nice to know. I have an MS in Molecular Evolution. So I know a little of what I am talking about. In short, Those who believe in Evolution also believe that there is NO G-d. So this universe and all that is in it must have be constructed by ONLY the physical rules of the universe. For those who believe in evolution I want to clarify something. Your belief --- is your faith -- is your god. Evolution is a belief system. Just like Religion. Those that believe in intelligent design (Creation) believe in a G-d that Created the Universe and all that is in it. These people also believe in a spiritual sphere as well as a material sphere. Evolution CANNOT be proven Scientifically. Any one who says otherwise does not understand scientific principles. A scientific process MUST be repeatable. No one today can duplicate evolution. That is why they still call it the THEORY OF EVOLUTION but treat it as a fact. Also, the fossil record does not support evolution. Now lets define Evolution. It means gradual change, as apposed to Revolution: Abrupt or rapid change. Darwin discovered what is called "Micro Evolution" The adaptation of organisms within a species. This is gradual change, caused by not so random selection, The quantum leap was to state that "Macro Evolution" The evolution of species works the same way. This followed the Mother of all evolution, the formation of a living cell. Here is a curious fact, live is very fragile. If life originated by evolution, I would expect life to be more durable. a dead dog won't come back to life. even though all the requirements for life exist in the proper locations, amounts.
