Obama needs to keep his nose out of Arab-Israeli affairs. He has no true understanding of the problems, players or history there. Everything he says or does is motivated by pure politics. He's already made a mess of things by insisting on a construction freeze. This wasn't a precondition for direct talks until he made it one. Every time a president gets his tit in the wringer at home. he turns to the middle east for a political boost. It didn't work for Carter, Clinton or Bush. It won't help Obama either.
