'Questioning the fairness of the courts is to question the justice of the Kingdom and its judicial system based on Islamic law,' claims Justice Ministry.19:30 26.11.15 | 0 comments
The court is acting in the best interests of the HUSBAND, not the child. If they were acting in the best interests of the child, they would allow the mother to leave her child's genitals alone until such a time as THE CHILD is old enough to decide on the matter. People dont have genital-comparing competitions - and what this article has misreported is that many Jews, even in Israel, choose NOT to circumcise. So the boy would not be alone. Also, from what I have read elsewhere, he wouldn't be raised in a place where circumcision was common, so the suggestion that the court made about the child looking like his peers is irrelevant. There are kids with big ears anyway, we don't pin their ears back - we deal with any bullying sensibly.
