The Egyptian constitution did not provide adequately for the removal of a bad government. We are used to reval by a vote of no confidence or by the authority of the head of state. Neither of these were possible here. If a government turns out to be blatantly incompetent, corrupt, or serving only the special interests of those in power and there is no constitutional means to remove them the people can only take to the streets and for e them out. Luckily here they had a powerful army to ultimately enforce their will They will no doubt improve on their constitution on a rewrite.
