I have just read this article by Akiva Eldar, it is interesting to note the different positions of the various MKs in the Knesset. I really was thinking of Amir and that somehow he stood alone, our thoughts, Haaretz, "converged" on that point, especially seeing a photo of a visibly fatigued Olmert and Halutz, two generational peers. Also I loved how kind Halutz was to Noam Shalit, putting his arm around him, ahavatyisroel, trying to assure him for Gilad, whom, G-d forbid, is not forgotten, may he return to his parents and siblings, Yoel and Hadas, with G-d's help. I finally understand the point of your cartoon. Resurrection? Why then, is the world still in the mess it's in? In the Talmud, King David asks that he shouldn't be like machiach ben Yosef, and G-d answers him, yes, you shall live forever, so we wait for Machiach, King David, son of Jesse as it states in our prayers. May that day come soon.
