Sorry, both sides rejected the UN partition. The Arabs were decidedly less subtle about it, and didn't even set out the proposed Arab state. But the Jews took what they got and immediately started fighting to get more. They did not in any meaningful sense of the word "accept" the UN partition. And while there is no doubt that Arab rhetoric was nastier, talking of thorwing the Jews into the sea, the Jews did a lot of expelling of Arabs, and then - scandalously - refused to allow them back, and when they didn't come back confiscated their proprerty. This was not "Jewish values" or "Jewish morality" as had been defined over the previous 2000 years.
