I find it odd how Shtrasler lambasts Netanyahu and Hendel for ignoring the past by making "it seem like rockets weren't being fired on Sderot when Israel was deep in Gaza" but then goes on to say that the "the Palestinians had a strong and widely accepted leader, Yasser Arafat, with whom one could arrive at a final-status solution [but] Israel depicted him as a monster and imprisoned him." Funny how Shtrasler conveinently seems to forget the past himself. Were not Arafat and the Palestinian people offered quite a prize in 2000 under their golden leader Arafat? Hmmm... makes me think there are more fundamental issues at work here.
