First, consider how laughable this plot is. Al-Qaida, an organization that brought down two mighty US buildings is going now after two poor synagogues? The scale of the operation is pitiful, and doing it by mail will only demonstrate how emasculated al-Qaida has become. And besides, if a synagogue received a package from YEMEN, what would be the first thing to do? Call the police, because this is a suspicious package by definition. It seems that the goal of the planner was not to cause damage, but to cause news bursts! Recall now that the first package was intercepted in Dubai, of all places. Recall also that the Dubai chief of police Mr. Tamim is a fame-hungry person who cannot tolerate being out of the news, and therefore every now and then comes up with some "news" about the Mossad assassination he investigated. Now we can see how the pieces of the puzzle fit neatly together. Tamim organized the attempted "bombing". He is not interested in any actual bombing which might get him into trouble (which is also why FedEx was used, not going in a passengers plane). And he is the first to catch a package (and the last you will hear from on this affair, because he will keep bragging about his success. Happy Halloween every one, and especially the Big Chief, Mr. Tamim.
