"Thousands of Hamas supporters converged on the deserted Gaza City house of Palestinian Authority Chairman Mahmoud Abbas on Friday, warning of violence if he makes concessions to Israel..." Hamas can rest easy, because Israel is the one making all the concessions. Abbas just gets to sit on his laurels. Palestinians stand to get everything they had under the Oslo Agreements, and then some. Israel stands to lose a lot of its land- most of the West Bank and land for a Gaza-West Bank connection. Even a part of Jerusalem might be given up. The Palestinians, meanwhile, lose nothing but only gain. Neither the Palestinians nor the other Arabs are expected to reimburse Israel for the harm of decades of suicide bombings, rocket attacks, and other war crimes. I could only hope that in this settlement Israel moves as many of its Muslim Arab residents out of Israel as possible. They will probably be executed by the Palestinians, but Arab-on-Arab violence is ok, right?
