The explosive dilemma of 'collaboration' with the Nazis in order to save German Jews split the Zionist movement in the 1930s.00:01 01.05.16 | 0 comments
As the descendant of many victims of the Nazi Holocaust, and a Canadian Jew, I find the settlers comparison to the Nazi Holocaust a disgusting example of historical revisionism. These settlers are illegally occupying territory that belongs to 1.3 million people who live in one of the densest and poorest strips of land in the world, that is why they should be removed. Unlike the victims of the Nazi Holocaust who were not just removed (with no compensation) but murdered, the removal of these settlers has nothing to do with their Jewishness. I also question the actual resistance to the evactuation and I have to wonder if Sharon's claims of Israel resembling "the eve of a civil war" have more to do with propoganda than reality. The Gaza evacuation should be a start, the West bank should follow, I beg responsible media such as Haaretz to dig deep and not allow Sharon to pass off the Gaza evacuation as the maximum possible sacrifice. I truely believe the majority of Israelis believe in land for peace, please reflect that in your reporting.
