Of course. Let's just look at your list : Rome - Mussolini and de Fascist regime. Paris ? Petain, Laval and the Collaboration. London ? The Irish genocide (yes, yes, there also was one there), the bombing of civilian populations in Dresden, Madrid ? Franco and his thugs, supported by Hitler during the Spanish War. Let’s add for good measure USA with the genocide of Native Americans, slavery, the first use of atomic weapons on civilian populations, etc, USSR with Stalin and the Gulag, Germany with Hitler (who else ?), Cambodia with Pol Pot and the Killing Fields, the Chinese with Mao Zedong and the Cultural revolution, North Korea with Kim Il Jung and son… In comparison, Iranian loonies and thugs like Khomeiny and Ahmedinejad pale into insignificance, although they sure are a nasty bunch of creeps. Too many skeletons in too many cupboards Oh, and I was about to forget : Israel and teh humiliation and dispossesion of Palestinians bu government and settlers.
