The observations of the professor are quite accurate. The question must be asked- who benefits most from this change? How much does the change cost? Is it really necessary? If not, can we use the money saved to bolster weak areas of Israeli infrastructure that really matter (ie- roads, Cave of Machpelah, etc...) The change of currency will not bring stability to the country- only common sense policites, gov't officials who put Israel first and not their own needs, and a resolution to the day in day out conflict with the Palestinian people.
