Netanyahu is too distrustful of the Arab world, of course these countries would rather Israel not exist, but most have come to the realization that we Jews aren't going anywhere. Why then does the state of Israel continue to build settlements on land that must be part of a Palestinian state if either state is to be viable? Because he needs the Haredim to back him in a future coalition. I feel Israel is slowly marching to its own demise, every action it takes just makes the likelihood of a one-state solution and the subsequent end of the Jewish state more likely. Perhaps the Iron dome technology will allow a West-bank withdrawal in the future... I'm not sure. It just saddens me to watch fellow Jews make the lives of others so difficult and undermine what the Jewish state was supposed to be.
