The tenacity of the Western schemes to keep Arab and Muslim peoples under their sphere of dominance is formidable. They always have multi-layers appeoachs. Lebanon ethnic groups are well known for their inclination to make deals for immediate gains. Principles, national sovereignity and other values can be compromised for a little pay. Hezbullah came to prominance in the lebanese scene by reneging traditional dealing and wheeling. It became an instant household reality to ndesperate and humiliated Arabs when it was able to cut Israel myth of invincibilty in pieces twice. ending the occupation and dispanding the once feared SLA and defeating a world supported aggression against Lebanon that had for the first time Arab regimes openly siding with their 'ennemy -Israel' . Now the West is back to divide and conquer, ie. trying what worked for Gen. Patreaus in Iraq (Sahwat) and officer Lawrence (of Arabia) decades before (WW I). If Iran is brought to its knee, may be then Hezbullah would be broken.
