collective responsibilty towards jews is not the sole preserve of israeli linked matters. i can remember anti-semitic abuse from a now-doing-well business-man, because his previous boss had been a jew and, he claimed. He had been treated badly by that jew (as a jew?), so that any (or every jew?) was to blame, including I must presume Israelis was the logic. This in northern Britain, quite close culturally and geographically to Sweden, but without a very large mohammedan minority. Indeed I find the BBC's stereotyping of Israelis more than a little based on British Jewry archytypes.
