While I share Rabbi Landes' fears about the "PTG," I find his prescriptions to indeed be overreach. Pursuit of justice is the Jewish answer, not the lack of due process he seems to suggest short of proof of guilt. And as he undoubtedly knows, there is not a chance that even with proof of guilt any Jewish perpetrators homes will be bulldozed---and that is as it should be. Demolishing homes of terrorists already in custody leaves innocents homeless---not just the parents who Rabbi Landes blames for not reigning in their sons, but children and elderly family members as well. This is not justice but vengeance, exactly what he decries.
