What all of these posters conveniently forget is that the ultimate reason for the disaster in Iraq was a failing in the democratic process in the United States (and here in the UK). Evidence was tampered and falsefied. Opponents were intimidated and dissent stifled. The press went on holiday. The level of accountability demanded by the legislative branch a joke. The result, a war that has undermined stability in the region, cost thousands of the lives and emboldened Iran to degree that was unimaginable a decade ago. The posters here blame El Baredi for the collective failings of the West, slander him with racist abuse and clamour for war...but the sad truth is that it was the collective mindset of people like you, who appear to be neither believers in democracy nor the rule of law, are responsible. You wanted blood then. And now you want more. I am no fan of the regime in Iran, but the truth is its extremists like yourselves who scare me more!
