What a pity. Every closure of a cultural institution is one nail more into the spiritual coffin of a nation. In the end theatres will have the level of soaps and spaces to develop new ways of perceptions will not have the funding they deserve. The foundation of a nation is its intellectual and cultural potential, in short, the originality and potential of its people. I am very concerned, beeing myself the director of a suburbal theatre in the periphery of Basel and very connected to Israel. In fact I look forward if Mr. Handelsaltz sharp analysis in view of the israeli public is reality, since I will propably play in Acco as a guest, next Sukkot, in hebrew, a challenge and a dream come through.
