True workers for peace would have similar relations with both sides. They would be visiting Israeli terror victims in hospitals and rehabilitation centers as well as their families to see if they needed any help or compassion. They would be DISCOURAGING foolish acts of violence and the teachings that go on in the classroom (I have professionally translated project notebooks of Palestinians children - I wept because what is put into these kids' heads is the worst form of child abuse. In the meantime the only ones up for a Nobel Peace prize is Hadassah hospital in Jerusalem, not only for providing the best medical attention to all who need it, regardless of race, religion, color or creed, but for actively working to build bridges between the two peoples. This is the element lacking withn the ISM movement. You are bent in destroying any possibility of bridges. I am willing to go out on a limb here and say that Israel is the only countryin the world that can really help the Palestinians build an independent country and nationhood in a way that would benefit all. There could be cooperation in medicine, education, hitech, modern agriculture. Israel has a lot of experience and creativity in building a country. Imagineif all Palestinian energy went into positive endeavors rather than into destructive ones - it would make a world of difference. As I said before, the ISMers are rabble rousers and are not doing anyone any favors..
