Hamas may have told Israel it isn’t looking for another war in Gaza, but it’s clearly desperate to advance its attack tunnels. It’s also delighted to be sowing seeds of discontent and concern among the Israeli public.04:19 13.02.16 | 0 comments
Why is it difficult to grasp that loyalty oaths from democracies are oaths to the state, not to a religion? Are Israeli's so insecure that they must force people to affirm their Jewishness? To combine religion and democracy in a loyalty oath is contradictory and is worthy of totalitarian governments. If Israel truly wants to be a democracy, park your religion at the door. If you want to be simply the Jewish state, then stop calling yourselves a democracy.
