The New York businessman wasn’t the casino mogul's first choice for president, but Adelson concludes that he 'will be good for Israel.'08:23 06.05.16 | 0 comments
CJ, your arguments in defense of the invasion of Israel by neighboring Arab states in 1948 is nonsensical and laughable. You make it sound as if the Arab armies were solely invading to save the Palestinians and not to threaten Israel or try to destroy it. The idea that the Arab states wanted only to secure territories allocated to Arabs in the partition plan is absurd. Syrian forces invaded Israel's Galilee - territory allocated to Israel in the partition plan. The Egyptian army advanced northward through the Gaza Strip toward Tel Aviv - territory allocated to Israel in the partition plan. Those Arab states rejected partition - they wanted to destroy Israel at birth, not to enforce borders that they didn't accept in the first place!
