"Until Israel grants equal rights for ALL of its citizens, AND either acknowledges and RESPECTS the soverign rights of Palestinians in the West Bank and Gaza.." - Citizen #55 Citizen, why is it so difficult for you to stick to the facts of the case? We are talking about a PEACE AGREEMENT with the Palestinians, when the borders will be mutually agreed to. The Palestinians living in Gaza and WB will then be citizens of Palestine. Their rights of course will be acknowledged by Israel. Will their rights be respected by their future government? It is their business to elect a good government for themselves. In terms of imperfections, it seems your attitude (in this case) is of a perfectionist. Anything less than fully perfect is absolutely wrong. Right? If you beat your wife, I hope they send you to prison. If you just shout at her everyday, I hope you move out of my neighborhood. In any case, there are "imperfections" in Israeli democracy now, but peace can allow full correction.
