Konrad if you think seeing a crucifix in a classroom triggers anti semitism I must respectfully disagree. The Italian case was brought about by a Norwegian atheist (nothing wrong with that) who chose to demand that crucifixes were removed from all schools. Circumcision isn't a "hot topic" rather symptomatic of a raft of concerns relating to our ability to empathise with the (imagined) suffering of others.
