As long as fighters are willing to remain there, the besieged city will not fall. But life there will become hell.13:03 12.02.16 | 0 comments
Great debate -- It seems to me that Marlene and Dutch have one glaring blind spot: Israel feels surrounded and fears for its survival. For all their military prowess, they are so small that if just once they err on the side of leniency, they may be extinguished. You weep for the Palestinian children. Well, so do I. But I also weep for Israeli women and children that have specifically been targeted by suicide bombers. Marlene, is there no room in your heart for the suffering of your own people? Dutch, does only one side bleed? Some day there WILL be Palestine and Israel, side by side, so close they are ALMOST, but not quite, one nation. Please keep your eye on that prize. It's going to be very hard on both sides to shake the hand that killed your brother. Do not trivialize the suffering on either side.
