About your "nothing but a total war against iran would be effective". And "there is absolutely no other choice (to stop Iran)." First, Your solution would be correct in a perfect world (perfect for us...), yet, it is a total fantasy. It will just not happen. Second, there is an imperfect solution that I mentioned before: To make it absolutely understood that in case a nuclear attack occurs anywhere in the world, Iran will be totaly annihilated. (possibly North Korea too). Without checking who did it. This outcome could be useful if all three powers, the US, Russia and China agree and undersign it. The reason to that is that only those two world enemies, Iran and N Korea could spread the bomb around into the hands of a Hezbollah or Hamas, or Chavez for that matter... This choice is however most probably, another fantasy... So, sauve qui peut...Antartica would be a good place.
