The Mossad is monitored by the Prime Minister, who is answerable to and can be removed by the Knesset who are democratically elected by ALL of Israel's adult citizens regardless of race, religion, gender etc. Therefore, the Mossad is actually fully answerable to the entire populace of Israel. The question remains as to who the written and broadcast media who have such a power of sway over millions of people are answerable to!
