i always felt that teh way israel withdrew was a mistake in particular in regard to teh christian allies. but in the end, israel does not wish to rule lebanon, and sooner or later lebanese will have to deal with the proxies of iran and syria. and i think idf clearly exhibits that there are values that are as strong as hizballahs desire to die. dont believe teh hype. not all of them are willing to die, definetly not the leadership. desire to live and to protect your loved once are stronger. i know i would be willing to die to protect my family on any given day. u must draw your own colnclusion. PS If it was not israel's desire to save lebanese civilians, no IDF casualties would have taken place. IDF warns civilians and hezbollah before it attacks a specific target. if they didnt care, there would be no hezbollah left, unfortunately there would be no lebanse left either. thats why idf sldiers are going house to house instead of just razing all of lebanon.
