China does not want to loose huge amounts of money by withdrawing the treasury bonds and we would be in terrible finacial ruin if they did. Neither side wins here. Until the U.S. can put it's money and brains into building and manufacturing something of big value in the future, we stand to loose. The push in green technology should be #1 priority. It makes sense in a practical far sighted sense in terms of economics and security as well as the environment. There is money to be made. Even the Chinese who build another huge coal manufacturing plant a week - which the west coast shares the pollution is jumping ahead in this market.
