historically, china tends to have a prudent foreign policy. however, china has always jealously guarded its own national security interests and considers sovereignty as the sole means of guarding national security intersts. china, reliant on iran for oil, might not publicly support a strike on iran. however, privately china might do so. china does not need or want a nuclear armed fanatical islamist state next to it. chinese ethos has nothing in common with apocalyptic shia theocracy. nor does china have the history of two thousand year old persecution of christian europe against the jews. hence, it is very doubtful that china would support iran militarily. china will remain on the sidelines and wait for the dust to settle.
